My dad passed away on 12/12/2022

and I still reach for the phone to call him about business decisions, life decisions, and...well...most every decision. He was my sounding board.
He had a gift for listening and offering an easy-to-digest opinion. He had experienced most every workplace scenario. He knew corporate culture and politics. He knew what could be applied to my problem. He was wise.
That loss taught me something critical about being ready for change. At work, succession planning is not just about replacing a position. It's about transferring wisdom, relationships, and institutional knowledge that lives in someone's head. It's about knowing what wisdom it takes to get the job done. It's knowing if a person has the skill and the will to take on what comes next.
You may know what they do...but when was the last time you captured what your key people actually KNOW?
If you’re not sure where to start, I help leaders assess readiness, capture critical knowledge, and build strong "who's next" pipelines. Send me a message because change is coming. You can count on it!
