I spent 25 years inside one of the world's largest companies, building teams and fixing what wasn't working. Then one day, without warning, I was let go.
After nearly a quarter century of above target performance reviews and saying yes to whatever role they needed I was done. Just like that.
But I wasn't finished learning, growing, or helping others be ready for what work or life throws at them. That's why I founded Onward & Upward.
What Makes Me Different
I know what works. I learned by doing and that gives me the benefit of knowing what works versus what "might work." I've worked in every corner of HR - from labor negotiations to workforce analytics to global learning programs. I also spent years alongside small business owners in insurance, recruiting, and retail. Big company structure meets small business hustle.
I tell the truth. I believe kindness is candor. I know what it's like to be championed. I also know what it's like to feel quieted, overlooked, unrecognized, to be moved around without input, to rebuild after everything falls apart. I use my story to help you write yours. I help leaders understand the impact of their choices.
I connect people. It's what I'm known for. If I can't help you directly, I probably know someone who can.
